TAROT TUESDAY: Ace of Wands invites us to lend our light to the collective

The Aces of the minor arcana are like a gift handed directly to us from Spirit, and all action we take in the energy of this card will be blessed. When I consider what a pure expression of Wands energy might look like, what comes to mind is a fire that is so skillfully wielded that it knows what to burn up and what to warm gently. It sits alight on the heart and illuminates“TAROT TUESDAY: Ace of Wands invites us to lend our light to the collective”

TAROT TUESDAY: Son of Wands invites us to illuminate another’s darkness

When we receive a court card in a reading, we’re often being invited to tap into a manner of operating in the world as a continuation or extension of our internal work. Son of Wands is comprised of two elements: fire for their suit of Wands and air for their descriptor as Son. What happens when fire and air combine? The fire rushes outward, hot and bright. Because we’re speaking about a court card and“TAROT TUESDAY: Son of Wands invites us to illuminate another’s darkness”

TAROT TUESDAY: Six of Swords teaches us to dig down to burst out

We continue to build upon the invitation for collaboration we keep receiving with the arrival of Six of Swords. The flavor is slightly different this week, as Six of Swords invites us to engage with one another in order to heal something deeply buried that proves to be special medicine for the work we are being called to do. When we begin to open ourselves earnestly to receive what we need in collaboration with other“TAROT TUESDAY: Six of Swords teaches us to dig down to burst out”

TAROT TUESDAY: Three of Pentacles reminds us we are not alone

Three of Pentacles is a gorgeous follow up to last week’s invitation from The Hermit (reversed), who encouraged us to turn our activity a bit more outward. With the arrival of Three of Pentacles, we’re invited to take our step out of withdrawal a bit further. We’re asked to be open to the possibility of collaboration / partnership for the purpose of creating something grander than what we could create with solely our own resources. In“TAROT TUESDAY: Three of Pentacles reminds us we are not alone”

TAROT TUESDAY: The Hermit (reversed) encourages us to come out of the dark

Most often The Hermit brings with them a message of withdrawal, more specifically the withdrawal from mindless or frenzied action so as to nourish self discovery. It’s not to say that this energy encourages a lack of activity, but rather a shift in our relationship to and how we define activity for the time being. Now considering that they have come through in a reversed position for us this week, we’re invited to move away from“TAROT TUESDAY: The Hermit (reversed) encourages us to come out of the dark”

TAROT TUESDAY: This week we are invited to experience Four of Cups (reversed)

As we took a pause last week to examine and view what felt like obstacles in a new light, we were free to experience them as helping hands steering us out of darkness we may not have even realized we were in. This week is similar in the sense that we’re invited to shift our perspective, but different in that we’re invited to take some subtle action along with that shift. The instruction that came“TAROT TUESDAY: This week we are invited to experience Four of Cups (reversed)”

TAROT TUESDAY: This week we are invited to experience Five of Stones (reversed)

Tarot Tuesday has moved into its new evolution: a single card drawn weekly for the collective, highlighting what we are being invited to experience for the coming week. For more in depth collective readings, please click here to read about our new monthly subscription offering entitled Widening The Spiral. The Fives of the minor arcana in tarot signify contraction, the uncomfortably necessary preparation for an expansion. When it comes through in a reversed position, however,“TAROT TUESDAY: This week we are invited to experience Five of Stones (reversed)”
